In this film, we discuss the method, structure, and operation of the reciprocating compressor. In high capacity compressors, the easiest way to unload the compressor is to use the hydraulic power of the oil and lift the suction valve from its seat.
Components of this unloading system include:
- a piston
- a ring
- a cylinder
- an oil transfer tube and a yoke and yoke arm.
The force of the oil is transmitted to the transmission tube by these pipes in the crankcase. The oil makes the piston move upstream, and as the piston moves upward, the yoke also exerts force on the Ring lift, and then through moving the suction valve from its seat, the cylinder becomes unloaded.
